Sleeping Alone

When you lie on your soft sheets and poufy pillows you want to forget everything you have endured during your mercurial day. A moment when you are true to yourself and vulnerable to the thoughts meandering in your head. Mainly, analyzing past actions or envisioning future dreams. A day in itself is not easy with a million insecurities, moments of uncertainties, equal number of hesitations paired with euphoric moments.

At the end of it all, you want a calm, serene, loving place to be where you can forego your experiences and thoughts for a few minutes and have someone to hold. Someone, who protects you through your vulnerable time, gives you security of being loved, and takes care of you before you bid adieu to the world for the night. Sleeping alone then somehow seems to be the worst curse, a challenging one that too. At the end of daybreak then, lying by yourself, can be lonely and daunting. Your favorable actions have to be your savior and your loved ones your surrender. To guide you to your dreams when your (k)night in shining armour is away..
